Racheal Kundananji is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a forward for National Women's Soccer League club Bay FC and the Zambia national team.
Kundananji's first team was the Konkola Queens, a Chililabombwe-based club owned by a local mining company. She worked as a welder while playing for the team.
Racheal Kundananji has been a key player for Zambia's women's national team, making significant contributions in major tournaments. She shined at the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations, scoring three goals, and played a crucial role in Zambia’s qualification for the 2020 Olympics, where she scored and assisted in a dramatic 4–4 draw against China. In 2022, Kundananji and three teammates were controversially ruled ineligible for the Africa Cup of Nations due to gender verification regulations, sparking international criticism. Despite setbacks, she continued to excel, scoring in Zambia’s historic 3–2 victory over Germany ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where she was later named to the squad.
